Christmas preparations

It doesn’t feel like Christmas in the house until the tree is up! I usually try to put it up on the first of December, which my lovely son did in the middle of the night to surprise us! Yay him!!!!  However, no one would decorate it until we were all together as a family as it is one of our traditions. As the boys get older and our lives whirlwind with one event or another, it was only yesterday that we finally hung the baubles. I am yet to see how long it lasts with kittens in the house.. LOL.

Christmas in the Making -z fold card

Today’s card is a great representation of this fun time.

The dimensional tree was created using the Christmas Staircase Thinlits {14467}. Create a die-cut Christmas staircase scene in record time with Thinlits dies and the Big Shot.  Thinlits Dies help you create detailed die cuts with just a few turns of the Big Shot handle.

The Stamp Christmas in the Making {144845} is wonderfully vintage and includes 5 stamps with both images and text to create beautiful projects. Don’t these images remind you of petticoats, Doris Day, Enid Blyton books, and other 1950s classics.

*This is a last-chance item and is available while supplies last. After 2 January 2018, it will no longer be available. See all the Year End Sales Event items to secure yours before they are all gone!

Today’s project images have been coloured with the Stampin’ Blends. A great tool for adding shading and dimension to any project. Be sure to check out the details on this versatile product on my webpage.
