Ready for Christmas.. the countdown has begun!

Blog flower header

This really is a wonderful time of year. I am {just a little bit} obsessed with Christmas. Each year I bake, sew, decorate and create with every justification of the season. This year I am going to share with you this personal journey of joy that I {madly} undertake in the name of Christmas! I hope you enjoy and find some inspiration, if not humour in my frenzy.

I have created a project than can be a simple Scrapbooking layout or in this case a fun pop up card. The folding pattern I learnt through a German Stampin’ Up! Sister Martina Lemke.

Here is the folded card (6″ square) ready to send. Ready for Christmas Pop Up Card 1

And Ta Da.. Here is the popped card measuring 12×12″ (or Scrapbook Page if desired!)

Ready for Christmas Pop Up Card 2

Today’s project uses the gorgeous Stampin’ Up! stamp set Ready for Christmas (144823), matching Christmas Staircase Thinlits Dies (144679) and Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies  (145372). I limited the colours to Real Red, Old Olive, Basic Black and Whisper White for a traditional Christmas feel. The patterned paper is the fabulous Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper (144623) and Be Merry Designer Series Paper (144111).

You could of course frame the entire full page project as a Christmas Sampler. You could also add messages for the intended recipient if you choose to use it as a card! This fun project can be adapted for any occasion using a selected stamp set, patterned paper and colour selection.

For those who wish to create this project, send me an email and I would be very happy to send you the tutorial for this project.

All items used are available in my online store.

Be sure to visit my Blog, Facebook and Instagram pages each day to find more creative inspiration.
