Welcome to today’s blog. I am pleased to be part of The EASD blog hop to highlight our favourite items from the 2017-18 Annual Stampin’ Up! Catalogue. What a privilege to be featured among such talented crew. I know I am always telling you how excited I am and saying ‘this is my favourite’ and I think that is because I find such joy in creating with Stampin’ Up! Products that I just become a little excitable and each new product I play with becomes my new favourite! I have decided that neither of these states of elation are a bad thing!. So welcome to my latest creation from the studio. First things first..
I am playing today with Product set A Little Wild {144344} and the coordinating Little Loves Framelits Dies {143743}. The set as shown lends itself immediately to baby cards but I love the idea of creating cards that are for the Wild at Heart.
My first idea on seeing this set was to create a Noah’s Ark style card. This is my first attempt at a double cascading card (also known as a double-z card). The wood texture was created using the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack {144177} and the edges distressed using a Sponge Dauber {133773} and Crumb Cake ink {126975}.
The super fun part of this set is the back of the animals is stamped to match perfectly. So cute! I have to say I did find photographing this project to show the best angles just a little bit tricky!
Once I started playing, I couldn’t stop. So I made some fun 3″x3″ note cards that also feature images inside the card to coordinate with the front images. Have you used the metallic thread {silver 138402} on your cards? They add an element of bling and dimension to your projects.

OH MY GOODNESS, These lil darlings just make my heart skip a beat….So wished I had lil people to create cards for them with these. From the first moment I saw them in the catalogue I knew that I had to buy them BUT other things keep popping in my shopping basket….these will be in my next BBB.
Love them, if you hadn’t gathered Cheers Shaz

Just so cute Linda. I love your cascading card. Is it bad to love their cute little behinds more than their faces? Fab note cards too.

Such a cute bundle, I love the stepped card and the detail on the back really shows the stamps off well.

Lol, the added detail inside the cards is a fab idea and I’m sure it will bring a smile to the recipients’ face! The double z looks awesome too!
